52 New Film Challange

So last year I participated in the 52 video game challenge on my instagram. I attempted to complete a game a week, on average, for the whole year. Unfortunately I failed quite spectacularly, finishing only 38 games total for the year. Rather than try that again I decided to do something new for this year, something I could actually achieve this time. As someone who loves films but hasn't seen enough of them, I thought I'd try and see 52 films this year that I had not seen before. They could be either fresh in the cinema or old on Netflix, the only rule was that I had not seen them prior to 2017.

This post will be where I keep the list of films I see but every five films I will make a new post and write up a few lines about what I liked and disliked about the film and I might give it a score. So head on through to what I've seen this year so far.

A list of games I enjoyed that came out in 2016

The beginning of a new year is a great opportunity to both look forwards to all the new experiences awaiting us in the new year and to look backwards to all that we enjoyed in the year just gone. While 2016 may have had a menacing aura around it, there were a few things to enjoy in the year that has just ended, video games being one of them! As such I have compiled a list, as many have, of games that I enjoyed a lot throughout 2016. So without further delay, and in no order, here are the games I enjoyed most in 2016.

My last list was getting a bit too long for me to keep updating, at the rate I was beating games it would be far too long by the end of the year! So I thought I'd split it up every three months. So it's early 2014! Horray! We finally made it. Anyway after seeing a friend of mine do a similar thing to help her keep track of her completed games for this year I thought I would make a similar post and try to keep it updated myself. Hopefully this will also motivate me to finish more games or something. I count completed games as ones I feel I have completed to an adequate degree or ones that I have seen the credits for. So... here we go!

My top ten Favourite Games (old)

Inspired by a Twitter trending topic earlier today I decided to think up and post my top ten games however this proved to be more difficult than I first thought. Only two games immediately popped into my head (the first two in this list) and it took me a good few hours of thinking to get the rest down. Out of the many many games I've played I've never really thought that many of them were my favourite games.

When trying to construct this list I had a lot of games in my mind to which I thought "yeah, I COULD have this game in my top ten I guess" But if I'm thinking about a game with such half-heartedness it doesn't really deserve to be on here.
